Meaningful Engagement of PLWNCDs and Mental Health Conditions

Meaningful Engagement of PLWNCDs and Mental Health Conditions thematic area focuses on understanding the ways, in which, PLWNCDs can and are being meaningfully involved across various sectors, including government, inter-government organisations and civil society.

It is without a question that PLWNCDs, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, have been disproportionately affected, as they are not only more vulnerable to co-morbidities and exposed to the disruption of health services, but also more likely to develop a serious illness potentially leading to mortality.

Through submissions of community-led and locally driven projects, the meaningful engagement of PLWNCDs thematic area can offer a collaborative platform, led by PLWNCDs, to nurture and promote ideas, advocacy and solutions that improve health outcomes.
