International Council of Beverages Associations
ICBA is the international business association established in 1995 that is the voice of the global non-alcoholic beverage industry. The members of ICBA include national and regional beverage associations as well as international beverage companies that operate in more than 200 countries and territories and produce, distribute, and sell a variety of non-alcoholic sparkling and still beverages. For over twenty years, ICBA has been a recognized observer at the Codex Alimentarius (“Codex”). ICBA also holds special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and is an accredited observer at the UN Environment Programme. ICBA has been a participant in the WHO GCM on NCDs and participated in the 2020 WHO Global High-Level Meeting on NCDs in Oman. ICBA and its members are committed to accelerating progress on the global goals, in particular SDG 3.4 and have a long history of working closely with governments and other stakeholders to achieve postive results in that space.
