Two new studies from WHO/Europe show that a high proportion of baby foods are incorrectly marketed as suitable for infants under the age of 6 months, and that many of those foods contain inappropriately high levels of sugar. Ahead of World No Tobacco Day (31 May), the World Health Organization is highlighting the damage tobacco causes to lung health: over 40% of all tobacco-related deaths are from lung diseases like cancer, chronic respiratory diseases and tuberculosis. On World No Tobacco Day (31 May), the World Health Organization draws attention to the damage caused by tobacco to lung health: more than 40% of tobacco-related deaths are attributable to lung diseases such as cancer, chronic respiratory diseases, and tuberculosis.
