Atlas of Palliative Care Developments in the Eastern Mediterranean Countries 2025

This atlas is a comprehensive report that assesses the current state of palliative care across 22 countries in the region, identifying gaps and opportunities for development. It provides comparative data, highlights key priorities, and aims to establish a baseline for monitoring progress in palliative care through indicators like national strategies, service availability, and essential medicine access. The report was developed by the ATLANTES Global Observatory of Palliative Care in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) EMRO and regional experts.
