CRS & CRSwNP Patient Charter

The CRS & CRSwNP Patient Charter, developed by the Global Allergy & Airways Patient Platform (GAAPP), sets out a clear vision for improving care for people living with Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyps (CRSwNP). Grounded in insights from patients and caregivers worldwide, the Charter highlights the significant physical, emotional, and quality-of-life burden of this chronic inflammatory condition, which is often underdiagnosed and undertreated. It defines key expectations for patient-centered care, including timely and accurate diagnosis, access to specialist services, personalized treatment plans, evidence-based education, quality-of-life support, and access to innovative therapies. The Charter aims to empower patients, guide healthcare professionals, and influence policymakers to ensure consistent, equitable, and high-quality care for people affected by CRS and CRSwNP.
