First NCD Lab Webinar 2021

Following the inaugural cycle of the NCD Lab in 2021, a webinar was held on 4th November 2021 to showcase three sensational projects. The event included remarks from former Special Advisor to the Director General of the WHO, Dr Peter Singer, Director of the WHO NCD Department Dr Bente Mikkelsen and Director of the WHO Global NCD Platform Dr Svetlana Akselrod, among other leading experts in this field. The panel discussion focused on how grassroots innovations can address the challenges experienced by people living with diabetes, from barriers to accessing health services and treatment hesitancy among doctors to stigma and discrimination.
