Background

The Fourth High-level Meeting of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly on the Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases and the Promotion of Mental Health and Well-being will be convened on 25 September 2025. The meeting will provide Member States an opportunity to adopt a new, ambitious, and achievable political declaration on NCDs and Mental Health towards and beyond 2030 based on evidence and grounded in human rights.
