Global Health Progress: Pharmaceutical industry collaborations on NCDs

Global Health Progress (GHP) features pharmaceutical industry collaborations looking to advance global health and development goals (including SDGs 3, 5, 9, 10, 17) in low- and middle-income countries. The database contains more than 250 collaborations with more than 1100 partners. Some 100 collaborations are related to non-communicable diseases (NCDs), with a focus on strengthening healthcare facilities, training healthcare workers, and increasing awareness to enhance product supply and delivery of care.

Collaborations are managed and maintained together with private sector entities and partners outside of WHO. The mention of specific companies or of certain manufacturers' products does not imply that they are endorsed or recommended by the KAP or the World Health Organization in preference to others of a similar nature that are not mentioned. The participating entities should not seek promotion from the fact that it has engaged in the KAP. Participation in the KAP should not be considered as a proof that WHO endorses the entity’s opinions, products and activities.
