Life after cancer: the story of Mariela, the brave girl from Beni (Bolivia)

To celebrate International Childhood Cancer Day 2022, PAHO shares the story of Mariela, the Bolivian girl nicknamed "the brave girl from Beni", for her decision and courage to face muscle cancer (rhabdomyosarcoma) when she was only 11 years old.
