About

This thematic collection highlights the lived experiences from people living with noncommunicable diseases, mental health, and neurological conditions. Each story brings to life key advocacy messages from the WHO Symposium on the Meaningful Engagement of People Living with NCDs, Mental Health, and Neurological Conditions. The collection reinforces the importance of inclusive representation and the value of lived experience in shaping more responsive, equitable health systems. These perspectives contribute to global advocacy efforts in the lead-up to the Fourth High-Level Meeting of the UN General Assembly on NCDs and Mental Health in September 2025.
