The goal of palliative care in pediatric cancer patients is to improve the well-being of the patient and their family throughout the illness, as well as to reduce physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering. Within the framework of the Global Initiative against Childhood Cancer, PAHO offers a series of modules on pediatric palliative care for mothers, fathers and caregivers. Each one contains essential information to be able to provide the best care and meet the needs arising from the disease that affect both the patient and their loved ones.
