A recap of UNGA75: an analysis

This year, after several rounds of negotiation, Member States adopted the Omnibus COVID-19 Resolution which acknowledged and emphasized the critical role of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations (UN) system in 'catalysing and coordinating' the global response to COVID-19. It underscored the need for international cooperation and solidarity to contain and overcome the pandemic through responses that are people-centred.
