Nutrition plays a vital role in improving survival, treatment outcomes, and quality of life for children and adolescents with cancer, yet malnutrition affects up to 75% of children with cancer worldwide. To address this challenge, the World Health Organization’s Global Initiative and the International Initiative for Pediatrics and Nutrition (IIPAN) have joined forces through a new collaboration agreement signed on 30 July 2025, aimed at strengthening nutrition-focused cancer care, building clinical capacity, and advancing knowledge sharing through the GICC Community of Practice.
We encourage all members of our GICC community of practice to explore the newly uploaded resources on our KAP Knowledge Repository.
