This framework is intended to be used as a tool by Member States to prioritize strategic interventions for cancer prevention and control, based on best available evidence, complementing other WHO tools recently developed to support national country responses in the field of cancer prevention and control. It covers six key areas: governance; prevention; early detection; treatment; palliative care; and surveillance and research.
