Addressing Diabetes and NCDs in Sub-Saharan Africa

Share

About

The burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) is rapidly increasing worldwide, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), which are most affected. Significant barriers to tackling the growing burden of NCDs include data scarcity, the need for integrated care, and various compounding factors. This situation demands renewed efforts and commitment from all stakeholders.

This collection features papers that discuss the unique challenges of addressing diabetes and other NCDs in the Sub-Saharan region, as well as best practices for overcoming these challenges.
