As part of the Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer (GICC), with funding from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and support from the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office, WHO Libya country office has conducted training of trainers for primary healthcare (PHC) workers in Misrata, Benghazi and Tripoli.
These workshops equipped 60 general physicians from 37 PHC centers with critical skills in the early diagnosis and referral of childhood cancer.
